Phlebodium aureum, Blue Star Fern has soft sage green leaves that stretch outward making them great as a hanging plants. Epiphytes and originating from South American rain forests, in its natural habitat this plant grow in the tree canopy. A very tough and easy plant!

  • LIGHT: Great for lower light conditions. Medium to low indirect light.

  • WATER: Likes to stay evenly moist, but not soggy. Loves humidity. Mist often or create a microclimate by setting the plant on a saucer filled with pebbles and water.

  • FERTILIZER: Doesn’t require much fertilizer. Can feed once a month during the growing season with a diluted liquid fertilizer.

Contactless delivery available in SF, Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley, Albany and Alameda. Free for orders over $30. $10 delivery fee for elsewhere in the Bay. Pick ups can be arranged in West Oakland.
