Tillandsia Stricta

$12.00
Only 1 available

Tillandsia Stricta shown

Tillandsia Stricta has silvery green foliage and produces colorful leave that little flowers emerge from. The flower only last a day, but the colorful leaves will last several months. After the plant flowers it produces several pups. Once the pup is 1/3 the size of the mother plant, it can be removed and will produce its own flower. Or the plants can be left together and will form a ball of plants!

  • LIGHT: Direct light or bright indirect light.

  • WATER: This plant loves the occasional misting, as well as being submerged at least once a month for fifteen minutes. It will be more bright and vibrant with a 15 minute soak once every other week. In the winter time you can soak less frequently, and in the summer time you can increase soakings, depending on your climate. If it is hot and dry where you live, then you should soak and mist more often, and if it is damp and overcast where you are, then you should soak it less often.

  • TIP: Make sure that post mist or soaking that you flip your air plant upside down to gently shake out any excess water.

Contactless delivery available in Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley, Albany and Alameda. Free for orders over $30. $15 delivery fee for elsewhere in the Bay. Pick ups can be arranged in Oakland.
